CaribJet opened in Grenada in 2006 after negotiating to take over Carin Travel Services Ltd. The company in Grenada is now known as CaribJet Carin Travel, and trades as CaribJet and Carib Tours.

All CaribJet’s managers have over three decades of airline background from Operations to Ticketing, Sales and Marketing and one also has a commercial pilots license. In terms of experience, CaribJet are recognised as the Premier representation company in Grenada.

Carin Travel was opened by Carin Otway in Mississauga, Canada in 1974. Two years later a branch was opened in Young Street, Toronto.

In 1978 The first independent IATA agency was opened in Grenada. Carin Travel became renowned for bringing in tour operators who used Barbados and Trinidad as their gateway and carried tourists to Grenada on LIAT.
