Every beach on the island of St. Lucia, including those that are part of the top resorts, is open to the public. The beaches on the western side of the island front the tranquil turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea and are favored for swimming and water sports, while the wild but beautiful eastern side churns with the more turbulent waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Although scenic to explore by horseback or jeep, the western beaches are not preferred for swimming.

This app is a fairly comprehensive guide to Grenada, Carriacou, and PM. The calendar is up to date and the category directory actually contains current information on local businesses and attractions unlike many of the Grenada business directories on the web. One thing that could be added at some point is a social feature that would allow the user to connect to others that happen to be nearby and/or delivery proximity ads/discounts such as "stop in here in the next ten minutes and get 3 for $10 cold Caribs". Okay, so that is my feature request. But as is, the app is very handy to explore before a visit and useful while on the island

I love this app! Excellent App, if you going to school a SGU, or traveling to Grenada. I have seen other travel app in this region and ilandguide Grenada is far the best. Free download and no roaming charges is a plus.
